Latest Updates from Our Project:

Divine Update!
over 4 years ago – Fri, Aug 30, 2019 at 01:50:43 AM

We hope you've had a god-like summer! Thanks again for your support of our Dread Gods Olympian Edition. While it might seem quiet here, we've been busy behind the scenes getting everything ready for this special hardcover. We are still on target to deliver your Dread-ful rewards in October.

Dread Gods is lined up for final production, proofing, and printing right after our Return to Monster Island and Harken's Raiders projects do the same. This is going to be a gorgeous tome, so we'll be making sure every detail is perfect.

We'll be back with another update closer to when our Backerkit surveys will be sent out via email. Thank the gods, we're close!

We Made It!

With just a few hours to spare, the Dread Gods Olympian Edition campaign has reached its funding goal! Thank you all so much, you have made this possible!

We've got until midnight Eastern to keep the pledges coming, to make sure we're well beyond the zone of any canceled pledges sending s back below the goal. Yes, such things have happened!

Again, thank you all! We'll be back with more updates as we head toward printing and fulfillment.

Clock Strikes 12!

We have 12 hours to go on the campaign and sizable gap to make up, but we’re confident we can get there. We’ll need every bit of help we can get, so please continue sharing with your friends on social media.

Dread Gods was truly a labor of love for me, Tom Raney, and colorist Nanjan Jamberi, as our pal Bart Sears gave us his concepts and characters, and then let us run wild with them. If you picked up the single issues or even the trade paperback collection from IDW, you don’t have the full story. This Olympian Edition includes a never-before-seen 10-page story by me and Tom that continues the saga of our gods. The volume also includes dozens of pages of designs and rare artwork that will be a process junkie’s delight.

Except for some design elements and final production, the Dread Gods Olympian Edition is complete, meaning we’ll have no delays getting it printed and in the hands of backers. Help us the scale this mountain!

Getting Close!
almost 5 years ago – Wed, Jul 17, 2019 at 03:58:51 PM

With a little more than 24 hours left to the campaign, we're more than halfway home to make the Dread Gods Olympian Edition a reality! We've still got a way to go before we cross the finish line, and we'll need your help to get there. Please share the campaign on your social media, so we can get the word out to as many people as possible. Here's a handy link: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/dreadgods/dread-gods-sci-fi-fantasy-graphic-novel-art-book?ref=9lryhb

We're proud of the work we've done on the book, and feel like this collection is the ultimate edition of the Dread Gods saga, filled with extra art and a behind-the-scenes glimpse  at the creative process.

We'll be back throughout the next day with updates, so please follow along as we race for our goal!

Dread Gods Original Art

It’s no secret that Tom Raney is an exceptional artist. Tom’s work on Dread Gods is some of the best in his career, and the campaign is thrilled to be able to offer a selection of his original pages to our backers.

Here’s the first page up for grabs:

For a pledge of $300, you can own page 5 from issue #1 of Dread Gods. This full-size inked original features Zeus and Hera. Of course, you also get both the digital and oversized hardcover copy of Dread Gods Olympian Edition.

Backers have already started to claim these original pages, so if there’s one you love, act now.
